Patient care at CRI

The Children’s Research Institute is networking across campus, clinics, and the community to develop clinical research through our Pediatric Clinical Research Unit (Peds CRU). Peds CRU represents our coming together as a “crew” to support all types of pediatric research, and is meant to enhance and support all clinical research in child health for UNC researchers.

Our resources will assist divisions and investigators performing clinical research and generating evidence-based care for our pediatric population. We are working across divisions and throughout the School of Medicine, as well as utilizing resources from NC TraCS to develop standardized processes and training for pediatric clinical research.

Researchers interested in clinical trials or studies are invited to contact Miriam Davis, the Clinical Trials Director for the Children’s Research Institute.
